Production Associate – Location: Orland, IN
We are currently hiring in all departments, for all shifts – no experience required! We will work with you to determine your skills and will place you in the department that is the best fit. This position may involve operating tools or machinery, ensuring production standards are met, finalizing products, or preparing them for shipping. You can be sure that this position will offer stability – we have never had a layoff – but it also offers growth, competitive wages at $17/hour (first shift) and $18/hour (second shift), health & retirement benefits, and a safe work environment.
Sales Support – Location: Orland, IN
If you enjoy and are motivated by a fast-paced, exciting work environment, Miller Poultry is seeking an individual to join their inside sales team! The Sales Support position interacts daily with a broad spectrum of individuals including Miller Poultry’s customers, consumers, production staff, plant operations staff, marketing, field sales teams, growers and accounting teams. This position plays a key role in daily order processing and invoicing and is an integral part of the Miller Poultry business.
HR Recruiter – Location: Orland, IN
Are you a people person looking to help others discover their career opportunities? We are currently looking for a recruiter to join our HR team! This position would require an associate degree or equivalent experience of two years or more, and would also require some travel. This person would work closely with our HR team, exploring areas where there is untapped potential, reviewing applications and interviewing candidates.
Retention Specialist – Location: Orland, IN
We are currently searching for an employee retention specialist to support our HR team! This person would promote retention to the company by analyzing turnover and implementing strategies to reverse trends, developing programs to support and motivate production employees to work efficiently and effectively. Proactive relationship building with our current and future employees as well as a focus on positive relationship building will also be critical to this role. This position would require dedicated time daily to our production floor.
2nd or 3rd Shift Maintenance Technician – Location: Orland, IN
This individual will be responsible for maintaining, diagnosing, repairing, and performing preventative maintenance. We offer competitive wages from $22-$32 (Pay may vary based on experience) in addition to great health benefits, retirement plans and more.
Refrigeration and Utilities Technician – Location: Orland, IN
Responsible for the maintenance and repair of the refrigeration and utility systems while complying with PSM and RMP guidelines. This position requires a candidate that has a strong attention to detail and is safety conscious.
2nd Shift Feedmill Maintenance – Location: New Paris, IN
The purpose of a Maintenance Mechanic is to maintain, diagnose, repair, rebuild, adjust, perform preventative maintenance and install equipment within and around the facilities so as to keep the production operational and to ensure a safe operation of machinery, equipment, physical structures, piping and electrical systems in a milling facility.
Benefits and Compliance Specialist – Location: Orland, IN
This position is responsible for all employee benefit programs ensuring that all applicable employees are provided the opportunity to benefit if they so desire. This position requires a very strong attention to detail mindset along with strong negotiation skills. This position would also cover any compliance related functions within HR including but not limited to unemployment hearings, EEOC claims and all other HR related compliance issues. This position would handle all insurance, 401K and exit documents are completed accurately and comply with company and employment laws while being consistently and fairly applied to all employees without prejudice or error.
