what we do best
Vertically
integrated
Our facilities and farms are all located throughout Indiana, southern Michigan, and eastern Ohio. We have all our operations under our own umbrella. This allows us to focus on quality, integrity, and fine-tuning our operations so we can produce a wholesome, great-tasting product for our consumers to enjoy.
Our
hatcheries
We hatch our own chickens at our hatcheries in Indiana and Ohio. These chickens are placed with one of our farm families. Our farm families work closely with Miller Poultry live production team members to ensure we are living up to our Miller Poultry standards of ensuring the best treatment of the birds.
The
finest feed
Proper and balanced nutrition is critical to produce the best quality chicken. Our feed consists of corn, soybeans, and micronutrients. We never add hormones, steroids, or by-products. We produce our breeder, conventional, and organic feed for our Indiana operations at our two feed mills in Nappanee and New Paris, Indiana.

We provide support and assistance to ensure our farm families are on the path to long term success raising chickens. Our broiler technicians assist our farm families every step of the way to ensure Miller Poultry standards are met. We attribute our success to our farm families that enjoy raising the best quality chicken. We invite you to consider becoming a farm family member!
Environmental and
community Stewardship
“For us, it really is about community, it’s about being local—purchasing local ingredients, working with local growers, selling to local markets, and living in the community that we work and provide to.”
– C. Miller
We support local grain growers in northern Indiana and southern Michigan by purchasing corn and soybeans to be used at our Indiana feed mills. We work with local farm families to humanely raise our chickens and, in turn, sell our products to local markets. This allows us to produce real food and support healthy physical and moral well-being.

We take animal welfare one step further with the humane treatment of Controlled Atmosphere Stunning, or CAS. Approved by Temple Grandin, a leading advocate for humane livestock treatment, this method allows for the birds to be put to sleep in a more relaxed state.
